Folding devices are one of the biggest trends today and it seems that Apple is also interested in jumping on the bandwagon.
Apple is said to have developed several prototypes of a foldable iPhone and two of these have now have passed the company’s sustainability tests, reports Economic Daily News.
It is, however, unlikely that we will see a foldable iPhone launch this year, so expect the launch to take place in 2022 or 2023 at the earliest. (Jon Prosser thinks we won’t see a foldable iPhone in 2022).
There are countless patent applications from Apple that support the claim that a foldable model of iPhone is under development. Additionally, back in 2019 there were rumours suggesting that a foldable 12in iPad with 5G support would arrive before a foldable iPhone.
